Instructions for a Simple Tied Sling
Materials: 6 ft. of cord
Cut two 36 in. pieces of cord. Arrange the two pieces paralell to each other with 8-10 inches of overlap.
Tie the two strands together with an overhand knot at each end of the overlapped area, as shown in the following photographs:
At the end of one of the cords, tie a bowline to form the finger loop, and at the end of the other cord, tie an overhand to make the release knot.
Your sling is now finished, and ready to use.
