Nylon Bullwhip

This is my first real whip project. It's made from black and charcoal grey coreless nylon 650 cord. The core consists of lead shot filled cord, and the handle is an aluminum rod. It has two plaited bellies and a 16 plait overlay. The overlay was begun where the fall attaches and worked towards the handle which means that there is no fall hitch (This was my own experiment, and is backwards from the way it seems most people braid whips). The fall is attatched to the loops formed by the start of the braid. The cross pattern on the handle is my own design, although it may not be orignal with me.
